The Oak House has an important place in the Hazel Hill story. Built by a group of people who lived on-site for six months, it was our first indoor space for gathering people together. There’s a lovely dining area with wooden trestle tables and views out into the wood and a large group room for indoor activities. There’s a mix of single, double and bunk beds, sleeping a maximum of 12 people. The building uses simple off-grid technology to provide for our needs, requiring active management on your part, such as lighting the wood burner to heat the radiators in cold weather.
